Many well-groomed trails are waiting for cross-country skiers and ski hikers off the Olympic slopes. Innsbruck offers cross-country ski regions which are the most famous ones for their reliable snow record. At an elevation of 1 700m the romantic landscape around Lüsens in the Sellraintal attracts many cross-country skiers. 

Tobogganing

became one of the most popular winter sports. A fast or a relaxed walk up the mountain - a pleasant evening on a mountain hut - and going down at breakneck speed. Sport, entertainment and fun are guaranteed! 

Ice sports & Bobsleigh rides

There are many different possibilities of trying some ice sports and you can even rush down the Olympic Bob- and Toboggan run in Igls.
